Territory of advanced development to be created in Dagestan

The territory of advanced development 'Kaspiysk' will be created in Dagestan. The relevant decree was signed by the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

The prime minister said at a meeting with vice prime ministers that he had signed two documents: on the creation of the territory of advanced development 'Kaspiysk' in Dagestan and the territory of advanced development 'Chusovoy' in the Perm region, which would allow opening enterprises of different orientations, including the production of food products, furniture, machinery, equipment, pulp, gasoline additives, hotel and recreation complexes and etc.

Syria intends to cooperate with Dagestan in fighting ideology of terrorism

Syrian Minister of Awqaf (Religious Endowments) Mohammad Abdul-Sattar al-Sayyed and the Dagestani Prime Minister Abdussamad Gamidov discussed means to confront Takfiri terrorist ideology.

During the meeting which was attended by the members of Dagestan's government, the two sides exchanged view ideas on the best ways to prevent the recruitment of the young in the ranks of terrorist organizations, as well as ways to develop relations between the two friendly countries.

Al-Sayyed also delivered a lecture in the attendance of a large crowd of preachers, imams and students, SANA reported.
